Overview of academic programmes
Bachelor academic programmes
A Bachelor degree in France consists of a 3-year programme, which at ESC Amiens initiates students for a career in commerce and management. In the third year students may chose to specialise in International Affairs (Full English). This undergraduate programme aims to provide students with the tools necessary to begin an international career.
WHO CAN APPLY ?
Applications are accepted from high school graduates or 1-year or 2-year post-secondary graduates.
Master academic programmes
The "Management de gestion opérationnelle d'entreprise" is a 5-year programme, and may be considered equivalent to a Master’s degree. In general students with a 3-year Bachelor degree will continue on for an additional 2 years to obtain their Master’s degree. The programme follows up on the Bachelor programme with a more intensive look into business tools and practices and specialisation in International Business (Full English) is possible in the final year.
WHO CAN APPLY ?
Applicants must have graduated from a recognised university, business or engineering school and have completed a three or four year post-secondary degree, whatever their background. The programme also provides admission through credit-equivalency for work experience.
MBA academic programmes
The 2-year MBA programme is geared towards those who wish to complement their existing degree with specialization in business or who have already obtained experience in the marketplace and wish to hone their skills and career outlook. The MBA programme at ESC Amiens consists of a first year in general business and management (in French only), and a second year concentrating in a specialised field, including International Business Strategy (Full English).
WHO CAN APPLY ?
Applicants must have graduated from a recognised university, business or engineering school and have completed a three (for MBA1) or four year (for MBA2) post-secondary degree, whatever their background. The programme also provides admission through credit-equivalency for work experience (for example, an applicant with a 3-year degree and 3 years work experience may apply for the MBA2).
ERASMUS and international students generally enter for a semester or two in the 3rd year of the Bachelor programme specialising in International Affairs, given entirely in English. They may also participate in the courses offered in English in the Master and MBA programmes.
Applications from international students may be accepted for the various academic programmes offered exclusively in French contingent on an acceptable level of fluency in French.
