A word from the Director

Fully taught in English, the ESC Amiens MBA in International Business Strategy (IBS) can be followed full-time or part-time (as a sandwich training/work placement provided that a suitable company accepts to participate in the program). Candidates, continuing their university studies or already possessing professional experience, come from all over the world, creating a diverse multicultural campus.

Our MBA in International Business Strategy concentrates heavily on a course program which will enable participants to be immediately operational, ready to get out into the field and achieve what needs to be done to obtain the goals of their organization in terms of its international strategy.  The program is designed for individuals with a managerial profile who are looking for a specialized and operational program in international trade.

The program is divided into two parts:

  • Phase 1 : September to February (Classroom)
  • Phase 2 : March to August (Internship in France or abroad)


  • Phase 1 : February to June (Classroom)
  • Phase 2 : July to December (Internship in France or abroad)

Objectives – Acquisition of competencies

International Business is the key word for this Top Quality training developing skills in international trade and negotiation, business intelligence, international marketing and management, and expertise in American, Asian and other emerging markets.

The goal is to train future business leaders who will pursue a career in International Business.

Accessible after a 4-year post-secondary degree

The program also provides admission through credit-equivalency for work experience (for example, an applicant with a 3-year degree and 3 years work experience may apply). Please contact us with your particular situation to see if you qualify.

Additional common core modules include business start-up, project management, research methods, and review seminar.

Duration and rhythm:

  • 6 month internship in France or abroad or 12 months work-study
  • 1 applied research dissertation
  • 1 major interdisciplinary project with public presentation and jury at end of program

Program subject to modification : Modules of 15 hours likely to evolve according to regional and international current events and the needs of the partner companies of the ESC Amiens
